Ollie Cain Chairman
Hi, My name is Ollie Cain and i graduated from AP229 in sep04. It was the end of a long journey which i began sat on my grandfathers knee at the age of 4, (he was a WW2 Spitfire pilot), and has taken me trough Air Training Corps flying and eventually Expensive flying, ie self sponsored flying!!! Having completed A levels with fairly average grades, i applied for BA sponsorship who said they would like to see a degree... So thats what i did, and four years later, (1 year in Australia, pretending to do proper work, whilst wakeboarding) I re-applied. Well Sept 11 put a stop to that one and i decided to risk it and pay for training. Having done the research, Oxford seemed the best choice and with the benefit of hindsight, it was. Having Scraped through all the training (falling through every hole in every net) I was offered a Job with GB Airways, who i am still very happily working for now.
Wow that took longer than i thought, but other interests are my gorgeous wife Louisa, Wakeboarding (my second true love) and in true Top Gun style Beach Volleyball!!!
Stefan Stolk Webmaster
Hi, I am Stefan Stolk and graduated from AP246 back in 2006. It's been a long journey from there, including struggling to find a job. I was offered a type rating, which I happily accepted after some good feedback from other gratuates. After that, some major airline merges happened in the UK and it was hard to find an A320 job at that point. But the long wait ended in 2008 as I was offered a job with Amsterdam Airlines back in The Netherlands, for which I enjoy every single minute!
Besides flying I run my own webhosting company. I design websites in my spare time, enjoy cycling, volleyball, swimming and having fun. I've missed one Formula one race since 1996, so I guess that's a notable thing as well.
